Design Process - 5 steps to designing a successful website
Many people contact us and ask what they need to do
in order to have a Website designed and then placed be on the Web.
The 5 steps below are intended to give you a basic understanding in
non-technical terms of what steps you will have to take in order to
give your company an Internet presence.
We will communicate with you by offering you a free email consultation
so that we may gain an understanding of your company, and your companies
Internet marketing needs. We will cover all aspects and costs of your
potential Website and then submit a custom proposal designed to meet
your needs. Should you decide to accept our proposal, we would then
proceed to step '2'.
We will do a search to find an available 'Domain Name' for your
business and register that Domain name with Network Solutions. You
will receive a $70 invoice from Network Solutions once your Domain
name has been registered. This $70 charge covers the first two years
of Domain name ownership. After the two year period has elapsed
you will be billed $35 per year thereafter by Network Solutions.
Now that you have a Domain name, we will move on to step '3'.
We will create and design a Web site to your specific needs and
specifications scanning your camera-ready artwork from an existing
advertising campaign or brochure, or if you would prefer, we could
custom design artwork and take digital pictures your company for
you. During the design process of your website, we will post a "Preview
Web Site" via the Internet. This will enable you to follow
the progress and development of your website from your office or
home computer, and enable you to provide feedback to us regarding
it's layout and design. This process gives you the ability to work
with us to direct and shape your Internet presence so that it meets
your company's specific needs and goals.
After you approve of the design and look of your website, your
site will then be placed on our 'Server', or your choice of a server.
Once your website information has been placed on a Server, your
company will then be on the World Wide Web.
After your site is on the Web, we will submit your company's
website information to the Web's most used 'Search Engines'. By
submitting your information to the various Search Engines, this
will enable potential customers and clients from around the world
to find your website more easily. We also have low-cost maintenance
plans that will enable you to keep your company's website up to
date with your current product information and services.
